Thank you Sir, Professor Omotoye for the leadership you are providing. You have consistently remained a source of inspiration to us, upcoming scholars. God bless you for this brief but deeply challenging scholarship you shared here. God bless you richly. Also, Dr. Shoboyejo, thank you for facilitating this discussion. Remain blessed in Jesus name.
Daily record keeping of Late Rev. Abel Kolawole, one of the first set of indegenuos Nigerians trained by UMS Missionaries which I got from his son, Dr. David Kolawole contributed greatly to the successful completion of my Ph.D. thesis at the University of Ibadan. I am in the area of the Old Testament but the text I interpreted for the thesis was within the United Missionary Church of Africa and this required establishing historical facts. Also, archives I got from the UMCA National headquarters helped me to re-write a long standing misconceptions about tithing and expatriate missionaries castigation in the Church. So, the value of record keeping cannot be overemphasized. No history, no humanity.
Thank you, Sir, once again for the discussion, Prof.
What a historical antiquity of services in Humanities. Congratulations
Thank you for your feedback. I will inform Prof. Omotoye
