The focal point of discipleship is the sovereignty of God. The sovereignty of God is the source from which faith is generated. Faith is the character quality and an attitude of the heart or mind that causes a person to believe in God; this faith can only be developed through spiritual formation. Faith is like a spiritual muscle that must be exercised through spiritual transformation.
